The Office of Computer Services has developed and updated the new KU ALL-Login Central Identity Verification System (June 27, 2023) as follows :
- Supports Proof Key for Code Exchange – PKCE security according to RFC 7636 standard, which encrypts the Authorization code to prevent CSRF attacks.
- Supports redirection back to the Web Application’s URL after successfully logging out of the central identity verification system.
- Supports Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) at https://mfa.ku.ac.th/ to increase the reliability of identity verification and help reduce the risk of cyber threats by preventing impersonation.
Objectives
- To provide the university with a central identity verification system that supports a single login for accessing various information systems.
- To enhance security with a central standard for logging into university information websites.
- To facilitate users by reducing access time, replacing the current identity verification system.
Benefits
- Users : Reduces access time and complexity by logging in only once a day, or a single time to access multiple systems they are authorized to use, without re-logging in.
- Departments : Reduces the risk of attacks on the identity verification system and lessens the burden of identity verification management.
