Training, Seminar, and Computer Room Rental Services

We offer rental services for meeting rooms, training rooms, seminar halls, and banquet spaces for both internal and external organizations of the university. Our facilities include:

  • Seminar Rooms (Lecture Style – No Computers): seating capacities with 30, 60, 110, and 300 participants
  • Computer Training Rooms (Hands-on Computer Labs): seating capacities with 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 100 participants
  • Banquet Room: seating capacity with 160 participants

All rooms are equipped with modern audiovisual equipment. Rental rates are available for half-day sessions (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM) and full-day sessions (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).

Room Reservation Procedure

Step 1: Specify your preferred date and time, number of participants, and type of room (Meeting/Seminar Room – Lecture Style, Computer Training Room, or Large Seminar Room), then contact us via email at roombooking-ocs@ku.ac.th or call +66 2 562 0951–6 ext. 622509 or 622523 to check room availability. (Reservation requests should be made at least 7 working days in advance.)

Step 2: Once you receive a confirmation of availability (as per Step 1), please complete the Room Reservation Confirmation Form and send it to the Office of Computer Services via the email address above.

Step 3: If applicable, fill out any additional required forms.

For example, for computer training room usage, you must also complete the Temporary Internet Account Request Form and submit it along with the room reservation form.

Step 4: Our staff coordinator from the Office of Computer Services will issue an official confirmation letter and coordinate the room setup, equipment, and other requested details based on the submitted form.

Additional Information

  • For computer-equipped training rooms, users are required to test the system 1–3 working days before the actual session. (Please indicate this in the reservation form.)
  • Cancellations must be made at least 5 working days in advance.

Remarks:

  1. Full-day rate refers to usage from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and half-day rate applies to 8:30 AM–12:00 PM or 1:00 PM–4:30 PM. For sessions held outside of official working hours (Saturday–Sunday), an additional fee of 2,000 THB per day applies.
  2. Catering services are available from the Office of Computer Services’ in-house vendors. If external snacks/lunch are brought in, an additional service charge of 1,000 THB per day will be applied.
  3. The rental fee includes basic in-room equipment, such as: Projection screen, Projector, Sound system, Microphones, Instructor computer, Participant computers (for computer training rooms only) and Tables and chairs according to the room’s capacity.
  4. Special after-hours service fees: 

Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–8:30 PM: 1,000 THB

Saturday–Sunday, 8:30 AM–8:30 PM: 2,000 THB

Terms and Conditions of Room Usage

  1. Parking: Speakers are entitled to parking for up to 2 vehicles per room, which must be specified in the room reservation form. Participants may use the university’s parking facilities at Ngamwongwan Parking Buildings 1 and 2. Parking tickets can be validated at the security counter on the 1st floor of Office of Computer Services. A parking fee of 20 THB per vehicle per day applies. Only electronic payments are accepted cash is not accepted.
  2. Software Installation: Users must schedule an appointment and bring their team to install and test any required software 1–3 working days prior to the event. The installation of unauthorized or unlicensed software is strictly prohibited. Setup, software testing, and venue preparation must be completed within 1–2 hours, and no additional service fee will be charged for this.
  3. Catering: All food and refreshments must be pre-prepared and ready to serve. Cooking is not permitted inside or around the building premises.
  4. Room Usage Policy: To ensure proper use and maintenance of our facilities, please observe the following regulations: 1) Food and beverages are strictly prohibited in computer training rooms to prevent potential damage to equipment. The university reserves the right to charge for any damages incurred. 2) The Office of Computer Services Building is an official government facility. Smoking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages are not permitted under any circumstances. 3) In lecture-style seminar rooms, personal computers and power strips are not allowed. If your training session requires the use of computers, please reserve a designated computer training room. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and professional environment.
  5. Venue Setup Guidelines: The following regulations apply to venue setup and decorations: 1) The use of nails, pins, or posting promotional materials on building walls is strictly prohibited. 2) Backdrop installations on stage must include standard protective floor coverings as required. 3) Prior approval from the room reservation officer is required for any installation or setup activities. Your cooperation in preserving the facility’s condition is greatly appreciated.
